WOMEN’S
PROGRAM SERVICES
CORNERSTONE’S programs and services are designed around the
social model self-help concept (peer orientated) and the experiential
learning process (learn by doing). The program and its directors are
community based. The program is simple, but structured to provide basic
education and opportunity for people with a primary problem of alcohol/drug addiction.
The program deals with the physical, psychological, spiritual, and
sociological changes in drinking/drug use and in the progression of recovery.
We enhance a sense of belonging and orderliness in all participants through
an extended family, safe environment, and maintenance of the home and center.
CORNERSTONE understands the needs of most people and provides the best
possibilities of diversified and distinctive recovery services. Therefore a separate
women’s program was developed to give women the opportunity to concentrate on
specific issues. The program is residential. The program is 90 days (120 days
with specific need and approval) in length. Aftercare is available to all who
complete the program. A non-medical detoxification stay is available prior to
the program if needed.
