SERVICES
& PROGRAMS:
CORNERSTONE Recovery Systems has created a tradition of excellence through its
mission to provide diversified and distinctive recovery services. We respond
to all aspects of a person's life that has been damaged by alcohol/drug
abuse. We are a community based, State licensed facility to provide
residential drug/alcohol treatment for men and women/perinatal.
Confidential pre-admission screening and intervention ensures that
participants are placed in the most appropriate and cost effective level of
care. Social setting (non-medical) detox service is available 7 days a week.
The live-in residential recovery program for adults is available for up to
180 days, depending on the specific needs of the individual and his/her
family.
At Cornerstone, residents are assigned a personal, trained, recovery
specialist and a recovery team to meet all needs of the participant. Recovery
specialists represent a variety of training and expertise with personal
recovery experience as an individual and a family member.
Multiple recovery modalities include assessment and evaluation, individual
group and family process sessions, education, presentations, videos and
discussions, 12 step meetings and recreation activities.
During recovery, the participant, family members, and friends, are encouraged
to participate in family groups, AA, NA,
Al-Anon, and other mutual beneficial self-help groups, along with social and
recreational activities. Following completion of the residential phase, the
recovery process can be continued at Cornerstone's programs and in the
community for life, with no additional fees.
Fees are based on an equitable share of cost of the program, based on the
ability to pay. No person seeking recovery will be turned away because of the
lack of funds. All services are based on the availability at the time of
need. Health insurances are accepted (need to be approved in advance from
insurance company).
Cornerstone Recovery Systems offers a complete range of resident services
including; Intervention and evaluation, of drug/alcohol abuse. Specialized
programs for men and women. Individual and group sessions. Non-medical detox
services. Information and referral services. Continuing aftercare program
services. Specialized relapse prevention program.
Policies for acceptance into the program are the same for everyone, without
regard to race, color, nationality, age, sex, or handicap.
Cornerstone Community Alcohol and Other Drug Recovery Systems Inc. is a tax
exempt, charitable, nonprofit corporation (Federal Tax ID # 77-0259210), in
Kings County. Cornerstone is a community based program operated by a Board of
Directors to provide these services.
